In addition, the Power Select Run Time Extender feature enables you to increase the power for denser areas or reduce the power for lighter tasks to extend battery run time. With the Flip-to-Edge mechanism, simply twist the pole to quickly swap from trimming to edging mode - the handy wheel guide makes precise cutting of lawn edges easy, for a perfect finish every time. The trimmer also features AFS®, which automatically feeds out the line from the spool when needed, without the need to stop the task. Part of the 18V POWERCONNECT™ system, this String Trimmer is supplied without a battery, making it the ideal choice if you already own a BLACK+DECKER® 18V product with a battery. You can extend your 18V collection without accumulating batteries and chargers you don't need. 18V POWERCONNECT™ batteries and chargers can also be purchased separately.
