Château Tour Blanquet has belonged to the Lamy family since 1932. In 2003, part of the vineyard was sold to the neighbouring estate, Château Cos d’Estournel. The estate benefits from the expertise of the Hübert de Bouard Consulting teams. Three hectares in the southern part of Saint Estèphe appellation. The average age of the vines is 35 years with a clay limestone gravel terroir. The vineyards are manually managed for green harvesting and sustainable viniculture. Alcoholic fermentation in temperaturecontrolled stainlesssteel vats. Extracting by pumping over and délestage (rack and return), before 31 days in vat. The wine is then aged for 6 months. This short time is conductive to oaky wines. In colour, Château Tour Blanquet is a brilliant rubyred with dark highlights. On the nose, the vintage boasts an intense bouquet featuring black fruit notes of blackberry & blueberry. It is round and generous on the palate with highquality tannins. Elegant spices create complex toasty overtones.
