Launched in 2015, following the success of TIKI LOVERS White and Dark Rums, TIKI LOVERS Pineapple is created using allnatural extracts of tropical pineapples sourced from South America. The pineapples are carefully selected at the peak of ripeness, ensuring the highest quality and most intense fruit flavors. The sweet, aromatic juice is then extracted by pressing, before undergoing a unique process that reduces some of its water content. The result is a complex, concentrated pineapple extract that adds a vibrant fruitiness to the rum without diluting or overpowering the rum’s natural character. The rum blend itself is a carefully crafted combination of aged and unaged Jamaican potstill rums from Hampden Estate and Worthy Park, 3yearold Barbados rum from the renowned Foursquare Distillery (aged in former Bourbon Whiskey barrels), and a touch of young column still rums from Trinidad and Guyana. This blend, which stands at a bold 45% ABV, is then infused with the pineapple extract and allowed to rest for several weeks.
