The Equip 11943x Series Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a cabling technology that accepts the same electrical inputs as a conventional copper cable, but uses fiber optic between connectors to transmit HDMI signals without loss or latency. Our hybrid cable design is made of glass fibres and copper wires. The high-speed TMDS signals are transmitted via the optical multimode fibers, while the low-frequency control signals are transmitted via the copper wires. The range of active optical cables allows you to reach up to 100 m away without loss of signal quality or the need for a separate power supply
