So we listened and upgraded the Skylab with a new zippered gusset construction to protect from the elements on and off the marked trails in any condition. The Skylab has been designed for riders who want to be prepared for anything in the ski resort or on the slopes with a lightweight construction that offers the perfect, ready-to-use all-mountain fit with a wider foot. If you are looking for a shoe that can do it all and has everything, then the Skylab is just what you need. Nitro leads the way with the TLS lacing system: two independent cutting zones that are quickly tightened and securely locked by a compact and lightweight mechanism that has proven itself in tens of thousands of days on the mountain. Specially designed, abrasion-resistant Dyneema® laces, easy-access handle pockets and our bail-out system for effortless loosening of laces complete the most advanced double lacing system on the market.
