Deluxe limited edition 2LP set pressed on 180g virgin vinyl - gatefold sleeve - music transferred from the original tape reels. A superb 1988 quartet studio performance recorded just three months before Chet's death. Originally issued on the Norwegian label Hot Club Records and long out of print, this is the first time that this historic session appears worldwide on vinyl, including three alternate takes that were absent from the initial release. Includes 12-page LP size booklet with previously unpublished photos from the actual sessions, plus specially prepared essays by the original producer Jon Larsen and music writer Brian Morton. Chet Baker: trumpet (also vocal on 'How High The Moon) Philip Catherine: guitar Egil Kapstad: piano Terje Venaas: bass Studio Sysmo, Paris, February 17 & 18, 1988. Transferred from the original tape reels and mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab, Salina, Kansas. Also available on CD 74401
