Product Description Our story began in 1966 with the opening of the distillery in the rural village of Tomnavoulin, Scotland. Since then, we’ve crafted exceptional single malt whiskey with a true Speyside character; rich, smooth and mellow. The distillery is located deep in the heart of Speyside, the most celebrated whisky-producing region in Scotland. Home to over half of Scotland’s operating malt whisky distilleries, Speyside is the perfect location to produce scotch. The name Tamnavulin is the Gaelic translation of ‘mill on the hill’, named in part after the historic former carding mill which sits on the site of the distillery. PORT CASK: Our Tamnavulin Port Cask Edition has been enhanced by Tawny Port casks from the Douro Valley in northern Portugal, creating a sumptuous addition to our growing Speyside single malt whisky range.

TASTING NOTES: This Tamnavulin single malt whisky offers sumptuous notes of honeyed poached pears, berry compote, dried fruits and creamy caramel, followed by a nutty finish.

CASK FINISH: Like all of our single malt scotch whiskies, this Speyside whisky is matured in two casks, first in American Oak barrels and then in Tawny Port casks, creating a rich, fruity and balanced dram.
