ADAM Audio D3V Amplified Desktop Monitoring System with USB-C Port (Sold in Pairs, Black)

The D3V is an amplified monitoring system in desktop format, available in black or white, for composers, creators and music lovers who want to enjoy ADAM Audio sound quality with ease. These speakers are equipped with the famous gold tweeters and feature ADAM Audio's illustrious German industrial design. Each pair features 3.5" ferrite magnet aluminum woofers that work with 80W amplifiers and complemented by 3.5" passive heaters on each side, allowing it to go down to 45Hz. With 25 years of experience with AMT tweeter technology, ADAM Audio has created the D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter), a compact 1.5" model that accurately reproduces treble and ensures that D3V listening without any fatigue. Thanks to its USB-C port, the onboard electronics act like a digital output device when the D3Vs are plugged into a computer, eliminating the need for an additional audio interface. It also works with mobile devices to deliver high-quality sound without the compression or conversion usually associated with this connector. The D3Vs also feature balanced 1/4" TRS inputs for more traditional analog audio applications. On the back of the left speaker are several convenient switches to correct common acoustic problems associated with speaker positioning, while on the front there are a headphone output and volume control that can also be used to select audio input and mute the sound. A multi-coloured backlit logo indicating the different modes completes the user interface. The D3V come with removable brackets oriented at 15° towards the user's ears. The underside of both speakers has a standard 3/8" threaded hole for attaching to microphone stands.
