Description

Saxophonist Jackie McLean's 1962 album 'Let Freedom Ring' reflected the change in the air: the musical freedoms of the emergent avant-garde and the social freedoms sought by the civil rights movement. The set featured Walter Davis Jr. on piano, Herbie Lewis on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums. This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes.
