The AF-drive is equipped with Tamron;s VXD-technology (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive), that provides quick and accurate autofocus. The lens has a Moisture-Resistant construction and Fluorine-coating for extra protection. Achieves an MOD of 0.18m (7.1 in) and maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.7.
