Description

The P ZERO Race TLR RS represents the latest addition to Pirelli's range of P ZERO Race road racing tyres, made in Italy. It has been developed in collaboration with professional athletes from their World Tour teams to deliver superior speed and grip performance compared to any other tyre they have created. This achievement is made possible by the new SmartEVO compound, formulated with the know-how and latest materials used in Motorsport, ensuring further improvement in grip and handling on both dry and wet surfaces. Additionally, they have lightened the patented SpeedCORE structure, featuring a thin, hermetic layer of rubber compound enriched with aramid particles. The combination of these factors has made it possible to create a high-performance tyre that is even faster for competitors, but also for those who wish to benefit from the same tech as the pros.

Key Features

SpeedCORE technology consists of a thin air-tight layer of rubber compound infused with aramid particles. A reduction in the overall depth of the casing structure and a lower weight has resulted in a reduction of the rolling resistance compared to the P Zero Race TLR.

The SmartEVO tyre compound features a blend of smart polymers inherited from their Motorsport expertise offering improved properties when measuring speed and grip. These qualities boost the handling precision and control to new levels, in both dry & wet conditions.

A revised TLR bead design has enhanced air retention and offers greater compatibility to accommodate the latest rim designs, including hookless rims developed under ETRTO and ISO standards.

Hookless compatibility: Sizes 26-622 and below are NOT compatible with hookless rims Sizes 28-622 and above are compatible with hookless rims subject to ETRTO 5bar/73psi max pressure limitation.
