I Was Born On April 6,1947 In Campo Di Fano (Frazione Di Prezza), Abruzzo, Italy. The Generation Which Became Known As The "Baby Boomer." I Immigrated To Hartford, Connecticut (U.S.A) In February Of 1956 At A Young Age Of 8. Lived At Charles Street In Hartford And Moved To 133 Franklin Avenue, Hartford In 1958. Charles Street, Along With Front Street Were Demolished In 1958 To Make Room For Constitution Plaza And Route 1-91; Since Then Hartford Has Not Been The Same. I Was Educated, Worked And Served In The Military During The Vietnam War - In Which A Purple Heart Was Given For Wounds Received In Action. I Graduated With A Degree In Accounting At Ccsc Which Is Now Ccsu. I Met "My Beautiful Italian Girl"In January Of 1973, Engaged In February And Married In July 7, 1973. This Was A Brief Engagement Period But A Long-lasting Relationship. We Raised A Family With Two Wonderful, Active Boys In Wethersfield, Connecticut. I Worked For The Federal Government For 31 Years And Retired In February Of 2003. A Five-year Plan Was Started Which, Today, Is Still Ongoing. The Retirement Years Were Spent Between Wethersfield Connecticut, Floridia -sicily Italy And Naples, Florida. Within This Same Period, Time Was Found To Do Some Paintings. It Must Be Said, My Fascination For Paintings Goes Way Back. Started With Oil But Switched Over To Acrylic. In 2007, I Was Inspired By The Birth Of My First Granddaughter, To Write About My Life As An Immigrant In America. It Was Titled "Finding The Way...memoirs Of An Italian Immigrant."
