The hybrid blend of merino wool and polyamide fibres quickly wicks moisture away from the body and dries quickly. The synthetic fibres are further improved by the use of our patented responsive technology. It is based on a special blend of natural, thermoreactive minerals that recycle the far-infrared energy (FIR) of the body for better performance, faster recovery and longer lasting warmth. As responsive is an integral part of the fibre, these benefits are maintained throughout the life of the fabric and do not wash out. Freedom of movement For the production of the Alpine Merino Responsive fibre, a nylon core is wound with merino wool to make the fabric even more stretchy and durable. The elastic waist and the gusset integrated into the crotch further improve the stretch comfort of the leggings and ensure optimal freedom of movement.
