It is true that everyone, in the privacy of their own thoughts, dreams of what they want their lives to be like, who they want to become, and what they want to accomplish. Most people’s dreams are an expectation for the future. My dream, however, is rooted in the past and originated from my mother having twice been stricken with cancer. She eventually lost her life to the disease. From that point forward, I understood that cancer was the un-decoded ‘black hole’ of human existence. When my mother was diagnosed with cancer the first time, I decided to devote my life to becoming a doctor. The second time she faced it instilled within me a dream to decode the ‘black hole’ of cancer for all the other mothers who, like my own, provide their children and families so much selfless love. Cancer is a source of horrible scars and rivers of tears in the lives of patients and their families, it is a ferocious killer that needs to be stopped. The invention of a new therapy in the doctor's method may be a weapon to stop this ferocious killer. He cleverly inlaid anti-cancer drugs inside the tumor, blocked it and killed the tumor, and induced tumor vaccines to hunt down other small tumors with metastases visible on imaging and sub-tumor lesions invisible on imaging, and could kill circulating tumor cells. This effect was called Abascopal effect by Dr. Mole in 1953, and its mechanism was not clear for half a century. Doctors spent more than 30 years to study its mechanism, which was the autoantibodies that induced immune response of B and T cells, cytokines and autologous antibodies of tumor-associate antigens. Dr. Yu did not follow the means of radiation therapy, his clever is to use intratumoral chemo drugs injection plus haptens (Penicillin and other known drugs), even the inventor of penicillin Alexander Fleming in the spirit of God, but also deeply happy for Dr. Yu's contribution to cancer of treatment: a novel eclectic approach for cancer therapy.
