With the Homematic IP interface for smart meters, you can always keep an eye on the power consumption in your home: via the Homematic IP app, which shows you the data of the electricity meter up-to-date and retroactively. It is also possible to use the measured values for smart automations. The interface is installed directly on the electricity meter. Assembly Electronic electricity meters have an optical data interface embedded in a metal plate. The Homematic IP interface is then magnetically fixed and finally integrated into the smart home via the Homematic IP app. Read power consumption via smartphone. Everything that the Homematic IP interface for Smart Meter captures data is immediately forwarded to the Homematic IP app. This means that the current and past power consumption can be clearly read at any time. All meter readings and current power are transmitted. Smart highlight: Thanks to the permanent measurement of the power values, any smart scenarios can be triggered. If power is fed via a PV system, the Homematic IP interface for smart meters detects. With a connected Homematic IP actuator, this produced power can then be used effectively yourself. Tip: Thanks to the permanent recording and storage of the measured data, the consumption can also be visualised and analyzed retroactively. So there are no surprises on the next electricity bill.
