Description

Ch.96: Ben Rich, originally hired as_thermodynamicist by Lockheed in the early 1950s, headed Lockheed Skunk Works from 1975 until he retired in 1991. He died in 1995. In 1993, as some people claim, he said: “We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity.” ... And some people say that he added then: “Anything you can imagine we already know how to do”. But the last part is definitely not true: In two years between Bob Lazar leaving this project in 1989 and Ben Rich retiring from his position in 1991 (or in 4 years to his 1993 speech, or even in 6 years to his passing in 1995), this leap both in physics/science and engineering/technology could not happen. We only start understanding the underlying physics.
