Jay was raised mostly by his grandparents and found himself hanging with an older crowd, which ultimately led him down a dark path during his adolescent years. Jay began using and selling drugs before he was a teenager, and by age 16, he had already accumulated 3 felony drug charges and was sentenced juvenile life, which was reduced to incarceration until he was 18. Jay had many ups and downs thereafter. After several years living a life free from drugs and alcohol, Jay fell into a deep prescription drug addiction which caused him to go bankrupt and nearly took his life. Jay eventually dug his way out of the grip of addiction, started a business in the middle of bankruptcy, and he's continued to overcome what seem to be insurmountable challenges. Jay has leveraged his past to develop a winning mindset and gets fulfillment from helping others overcome their demons to live the life of their dreams.
