House with Glory (Mount Zion)

The Hebrews had escaped the grip of the Babylonians, brought back to their land by the will of The Father. In their attempts to return to normalcy, they began rebuilding their homes, but not their temple. Years beyond the original scenario, now God revisits the same People of God and beckons to them again: Build this House! What was once the glory of the former, now becomes a House with Glory. Now, the presence of God dwells with man and among man, being God with man. Who can remember the former? God asks those before Him. He seemingly asks us the same: Who can remember the former life we lived before The Lord came and saved us? Who can see the image of ourselves that was before we crossed paths with the Redeemer called Christ? While this Old Testament passage preached at The Old Country Church in Bostian Heights, North Carolina may cause us to recollect, we must now look into the House of God. It is in shambles. It is vacant. It is neglected. Turn now and begin to add to it souls, repairs, and finally, attendance. For, it is to be full of The Lord's glory and full of God's splendor. May The Holy Ghost come and animate it. Let us fulfill the words of Haggai, the prophet. The 161st publication wherein the same Church of Jesus Christ now needs our reconstruction, guided by Wisdom, and carried out by faithful spirits devoted and dedicated to The Trinity's work and life in Orthodox Christianity, let us work.
