When developing the new insulation material for the ECOCORD cable, Cordial has completely dispensed with PVC. The alternative is TPE-V, a blend of soft/elastic and firmer components, which allows for an equally flexible cable.

ECOCORD cables have double shielding of copper braid and plastic (to minimize microphone effects) and a conductor cross section of 0.50 mm² (conductor resistance < 39 Ω/km), which allows for particularly clear signal transmission.
