The Vento Powertex Jacket is a weatherproof hardshell jacket with a high water resistance (hydrostatic head) of 10,000 millimetres and fully taped seams. The water column describes the pressure needed until water can penetrate through the fabric. Above all, the 2.5-layer jacket scores points with a very high breathability of 40,000 g/m²/24h: within 24 hours, up to 40 litres of water vapour per square metre can evaporate. So the jacket ensures a comfortable fit in the saddle all day long. Bike-specific fit With a longer cut back, high collar and extended cuffs that keep cold draughts away, the Vento Powertex Jacket is specially designed for the demands of bike tours. In addition, there is an elastic, well-closing and comfortable storm hood that fits easily under the helmet and gives visibility at all times - which becomes particularly relevant for safety in demanding terrain. The special ventilation slits in the upper back provide additional ventilation when the climb becomes more strenuous. Important small items such as gloves or energy bars can be safely stored in the chest pocket with zip and remain within easy reach. As temperatures rise – or the intensity – the Vento jacket can be easily stored in its own integrated compression pocket.
