CVN-65 USS Enterprise Model: How to build the CVN-65 USS Enterprise Model from Tamiya (A Glenn Hoover Model Build Instruction Series - Color Interior)

This book contains detailed instructions in COLOR on building the CVN-65 USS Enterprise scale model aircraft carrier from Tamiya (Kit 78007). In addition to the kit’s instructions, the book includes instructions on eduard’s PE sets 53223, 53224, 53227, 53236, and 53237. Can you imagine merging these instructions? Well, I’ve done that for you and more. I take the model kit instructions from Tamiya along with the eduard sets and break them up into individual steps. I also included instructions on scratch building the hangar bay and lighting it with micro-LEDs and instructions on lighting the island including outlining the “65” with fiber optics. The aftermarket steps are colored gray making them easy to skip if you just have the basic model. This book provides a detailed list of tools that I used to build this model, along with a list of paints. The actual instruction section contains 2068 steps and 270+ figures over 388 pages that tell you what to dry fit, glue, and/or paint for each individual piece. Each step instruction shows the source (i.e., either Tamiya or AM) along with a block to mark that you completed the step. There are several pages of in-process photos with assembly tips and the final photos of my build for reference. This book is a great checklist to make your build go smoothly.
