The 2-inch sleeping pad is made of solid thermal foam to provide stability and warmth during nights under the stars. With a 6 R-value, the BaseCamp can handle camps during any season or condition (R-value measures the material’s ability to insulate; the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad). The 2-inch thick pad will expand on its own with an open valve until topping off with a few breaths. The BaseCamp sleeping pad also includes a stuff sack to protect the pad when it's packed down. Like all Therm-a-Rest pads, the BaseCamp is made in market to ensure quality and minimize environmental impact. Equipped with the WingLock Valve which is able to inflate a pad three times faster than a standard valve thanks to a larger barrel and optional one-way inflation. Made in the USA. Manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty. Safety Warning Always inflate the pad completely before use and let it sit for 2-4 hours. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 1500 pounds. Spot clean only. Not suitable for children. Always follow the instructions included with the product for safe use and handling.
