Description

Product Description Nitrat-Plus Basic N is a stable and specially coordinated nitrate mixture for targeted increase of the NO3 value in any sea and freshwater aquarium. Basic N effectively prevents nitrate limitation dangerous for corals and plants and sustainably increases their growth and health. Caution H272: can intensify fire; oxidant. H319: Causes serious eye irritation. Instructions for use: shake well before use. Dose 1 ml per 100 litres of water to increase the NO3 value by 1 mg/l. The dosage can be done daily. The ideal nitrate value is: sea water = 2-15 mg/l fresh water = 2-30 mg/l. Tips: Increase the nitrate value slowly and gently so that your corals and plants can adapt optimally. Make sure the nitrate value never drops to 0 mg/l, as corals and plants need nitrate for optimal health and growth. Regularly check the nutrient values in your aquarium, as increasing the nitrate value (NO3) can also increase the consumption of phosphate (PO4). Important building block: nitrate is an essential building block as a nutrient for corals in the saltwater aquarium. A limitation should therefore be avoided.

Perfect combination: Since the nitrate value in the aquarium is always considered in combination with the phosphate value, you can then increase it easily and safely with Microbe-Lift Basic P.

Use: first determine the nitrate value in your aquarium with a nitrate test. Dose 1 ml of Basic N per 100 litres of water to increase the NO3 value by 1 mg/l. The dosage can be done daily. The ideal nitrate value is 2-15 mg/L.
