In addition to the printed guide, we also provide step-by-step video instructions for the installation via the free Onbox App. BabyDan GuardMe is a wall-mounted gate which means for a safe and correct installation you screw it to your walls or the sides of a door frame. Screws for wood are included. Tested, approved and free of any harmful substances To ensure children’s safety BabyDan Guard Me is tested and approved by TÜV according to the European standard EN 1930:2011 and the American standard ASTM F1004-18. BabyDan Guard Me is made in Denmark by BabyDan from a patented design and an improved formula of high-quality, robust, and durable ABS plastic and nylon. All BabyDan's gates are made with sustainability and safety as a main focus. For example, BabyDan Guard Me is made from BHA-, phthalate-, and PVC-free plastic to ensure no harm to your child or dog if they decide to taste the gate. Every day we work towards reducing our resource usage at BabyDan - both the materials that our gates are made of like metal, plastic and wood but also resources like water, electricity etc. that are necessary to be able to manufacture the gates. All our gates are made on-site at our factory in Denmark where we make sure that every employee has a sustainable work-life balance and no one is being discriminated. With an extra extension (sold separately) it can cover openings up to 113.5 cm/. If fitted on the outside of a door frame BabyDan Guard Me can cover openings between 55-79.5 cm/. With an extra extension (sold separately) it can cover openings up to 103.5 cm/. Height: Mounted: 74 cm/ The gate itself: 72.5 cm/ Please note: If installed on top of stairs there needs to be at least 9 cm/ from the gate’s wall mounts to the edge of the top step. If extended with an extra extension (sold separately) the distance must be a minimum of 13 cm/. This product is a wall-mounted safety gate that requires to be mounted with screws into a wall or door frame for correct and safe installation. If installed on a wall with skirting boards a spacer (sold separately) is needed for correct and safe installation.
