JBL Club Marine 102 10 in / 25 cm Marine Subwoofer with RGB

rtip_product_description1value-en_GB The JBL Club 102 is a 10" (250 mm) component subwoofer that adds tight, controlled low end to marine and powersport systems. Rated at 350 W RMS and 1050 W peak, it delivers strong output without sacrificing definition. A rigid polypropylene cone with generous surface area and a high-roll rubber surround allow long, linear excursion, keeping bass lines punchy rather than boomy. The motor uses a dual-stack magnet and a 2" (50 mm) voice coil for thermal headroom, while a ventilated basket moves air across the coil during sustained use. Sensitivity is 83 dB (1 W/1 m) and the operating range is 35 Hz – 500 Hz (-6 dB), enabling clean crossover to common 6.5" or 8" speakers. Selectable Smart Impedance (SSI™) lets you choose 2 ohm or 4 ohm via a switch, matching the sub to your amplifier’s preferred load without rewiring. Pick 2 ohm for maximum power from a stable mono channel, or 4 ohm for multi-channel layouts or amps that prefer higher impedance. The Club 102 works in compact sealed and band-pass enclosures. Follow the manual’s box volumes to balance transient response and extension. UV-resistant polypropylene and a durable surround suit mobile use. Mounting is straightforward: 228.6 mm (9") cutout and 129.8 mm (5-1/8") depth. For best results, pair with a clean amplifier rated around 350 W RMS into the chosen impedance, use proper-gauge wiring and ensure an airtight enclosure. Set crossover and gain carefully to add weight and punch while keeping vocals clear.
