It can also be used for sealing concrete foundations and walls. Bostik WATERSTOP Flexible Waterproof Coating stops water travelling through porous, cracked or degraded substrates on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. The highly flexible coating is easy-to-apply, quick drying and free from solvent, bitumen and isocyanates, meaning it’s better for the environment. It can be applied to many substrates without a primer: concrete, stone, wood, metal, zinc, clay, tiles, slate, felt, polystyrene, and most plastics. However, it is not suitable for use on polyethylene & polypropylene plastics, or bitumen coatings. Once applied it instantly protects, even if it rains immediately after application. It is long lasting and resists cracking, UV and frost. Being flexible, it is not affected by temperature variations.
