Description

Between the two wars, numerous naval forces conducted programs to develop torpedo boat flotillas, which could perform both patrol and attack operations. The new engine techniques ensured better performance and higher operating efficiency compared to World War I. In the 1930s, the German Kriegsmarine developed the famous S-Class torpedo motor boats. From 1939 to 1940, the S-26 series was built, recognizable by an integrated foredeck with two 533mm torpedo tubes. The aesthetic solution of the arch is maintained and improved even for later versions. Among the most famous speedboats are the S-38 version. The almost 100 copies produced had a length of 35 metres and a displacement of over 100 tons at full load. Thanks to its 12-cylinder Daimler Benz engines, it was able to reach a top speed of 39.5 knots. Safety Warning Not suitable for children under 14 years
