Description

The PROTIG 231L DC PFC is a pulsed DC TIG welding power source with integrated cooling unit. Its PFC technology enables it to operate from 195 V to 265 V, delivering a highly stable arc even on 100 m extension cords. For electrode welding, its pulsed MMA mode facilitates rising welds.

2 WELDING PROCESS: DC (DC Standard: smooth current welding on most ferrous materials. DC Pulsed up to 2 kHz: controls the temperature of the melt bath, limits deformation and allows the assembly of sheets of small thicknesses from 0.3 mm) and MMA (MMA Standard: rutile and basic electrodes (up to Ø 5 mm). MMA Pulsed up to 500 Hz: facilitates welding in the upright upright position (tubings/pipeline…))

2 pointing modes: - Spot: adjustable pointing of parts from 0.1 to 60 seconds before welding. - Pulse: Adjustable pointing from 0.01 to 60 seconds on thin sheet metal before welding.

2 types of priming: contactless HF or contact LIFT for electrosensitive environments.

3 Trigger Managements:2T, 4T and 4T LOG.

State-of-the-art secondary regulation for optimal arc stability and constant current in all positions.
