SOLE The Duke GTX sole block is created to provide maximum comfort in every situation and against every type of roughness of the terrain. The foot is directly in contact with the dual-density EVA midsole which combines a soft area to accommodate the foot and a high-density ESS area just above the tread. Through the Vibram® Duke sole with two-tone XS Trek compound it is possible to glimpse the composition of the ESS midsole. UPPER AND LINING The upper of the Duke GTX is made of fabric with seamless PU applications and integrates the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, with direct lamination in the upper, for lightness and optimal insulation from atmospheric agents. Impact protection is ensured thanks to Kayland's Overlasting construction which, thanks to the polyurethane band, protects the foot even on the steepest and most uneven terrain. The additional PU inserts provide even greater protection especially in the ankle and heel area.
