THE HEBREW IN NIGERIA are the Igbo Jews, they are the lost tribe of Israel. UMUNRI-ERI, Over 2000 years, among the Million Igbo people in Nigeria the fact is, the UMUERI Igbo originated in ancient Israel. Right from time, Igbo Jewish communities which are known to UMU-ERI had been in existence among Igbo people in Nigeria. Several years ago, some Jews citizens in several occasions of UMU-ERI community celebrations visited UMU-ERI communities as well assisted in the celebrations. Most of history is an account of what someone heard or saw; opinions therefore often vary from teller to teller according to the motive of the narrator and depth of research made before one's conclusion. Hence there should be no duels over difference of opinion instead with a little more patient, deeper research and wider conclusions one gets better understanding. The fact is, there are evidently Hebrews in Nigeria and this book gave the facts. A research worker for instance into a topic like the history of HEBREW CHILDREN IN NIGERIA, cannot reach complete facts he seeks if he visits just one or two of Nigerians, and put a few questions to a few persons, perhaps swaggering claimants, and then jumps into considerations which may be fallacious and can only solve some but raise a multitude of more problems obstructing speedy attainment of the facts. Sometimes some people do not see history in its true perspective... The fact is, there are evidently Hebrews in Nigeria and this book gave the facts.
