According to a pedagogy based on scientific evidence, education, as a teaching-learning process, constitutes at the same time a complex historically evolved biopsycho-social process; in which its determination is in the first instance biological and, ultimately, socio-historical, with psychological mediation between both instances. Thus, through brain plasticity (its ability to continuously adapt to changing circumstances), education not only changes the mind, but in turn each new learning produces changes in the brain.
