MINK PRO i-Size with the MINK FX base included in the set is a car seat for children who are 40–75 cm tall (from birth up to 13 kg). It's installed only in the rearward facing (RWF) position, which is five times safer in the event of a head-on collision. The car seat meets the latest R129 i-Size car seat standard, and has been tested under very stringent conditions in crash tests. The car seat set includes the MINK FX base. It’s affixed using the ISOFIX latches and support leg. The base is installed once, and then you can affix the car seat to it in just a few seconds. The MINK FX base is equipped with correct installation indicators – when they’re green, the base has been correctly installed. You can also optionally affix the car seat without the base using the car’s seat belt. MINK PRO i-Size allows you to adjust the headrest and safety harness (to 35–52 cm) at the same time. The MINK PRO i-Size car seat has two dedicated systems: The H-GUARD SYSTEM, which is a three-layer reinforced headrest, and the SIDE PROTECT SYSTEM, which has reinforced side protection. They allow the structure of the car seat to absorb and disperse the energy generated in the event of a collision, preventing the full force from reaching your child. Combined with the five-times safer RWF position, MINK PRO i-Size will provide effective protection for your little one when travelling. MINK PRO i-Size is compatible with most universal adapters. These allow you to affix the car seat to a pushchair frame, thus creating the TRAVEL SYSTEM. The car seat is equipped with an internal insert with memory foam in the headrest – this decreases the distance between the shell and the child’s body, increasing safety when travelling.
