Their first Master Brewer, Seibei Nakagawa, crossed the globe to Germany to assimilate 900 years of brewing knowledge and bring it back to Hokkaido. Sapporo have been perfecting their beer with cutting-edge technology ever since, even developing their own genetic strains of barley and hops, refining every detail to brew an unmistakably crisp and balanced beer. Sapporo Premium Beer is a radiant golden-straw colour with a dense creamy head. It presents a light yet surprisingly complex aroma with subtle hints of citrus fruit and mild herbal notes.
