Description

Neutral density + polarization filters, or ND/PL filters for short, are a unique type of camera filter that combines two popular filter effects together into a single glass element. ND/PL filters combine a polarized glass element with a neutral density coating of a specified strength for slowing shutter speeds with improved contrast and color saturation. This ND64/PL filter for the Helix MagLock System offering 6-stops of reduction works great for multiple applications and use cases. It can be used for both videography and photography, either for shutter speed control with wide apertures or creative long-exposure photography with the added benefit of improved contrast and color saturation from the polarizer.
