Miles Per Gallon

Summer, 1983. One season, one band, one van. Armed only with roadmaps and swiped calling card numbers, directionless punks wander the continent to discover the horror and beauty of America. A band (and a lifelong bond) is formed against the backdrop of the 1980’s SoCal hardcore scene, when childhood friends find themselves on the stage themselves. In a Summer chronicled by a dashboard journal, life is learned in a series of drunken misadventures. And all the while, the music plays: loud, fast, and as urgent as adolescence itself.
