Brewing Mate Home Brew Heat Pad Mat (Thermostatic)

This heater pad is the an essential piece of home brew equipment required to create a perfect beer, wine, cider or kombucha. Temperature control is the single most important factor in achieving great fermentation results. The set includes two stick on brewing thermometers to monitor the temperature.

Brewing Mate Heat Pad has a thermostat allowing you to dial in the exact fermentation temperature to keep the yeast healthy and thriving. Remember, in low temperatures fermentation may stall and in high temperatures the yeast might produce the off flavours.

Our 30cm home brewing heat pad fits demijohns, 5 gallon beer fermenters, and other larger vessels such as kegs. The heat pad is splash proof, but shouldn't be submerged in liguids. To avoid any damage to delicate surfaces place the pad on a cloth.

This heat 33Watt mat can be also used for proofing bread. Simply place your bread basket or bread starter on the warm heating mat to kick start the fermentation. Our brew pad has a safety shut down mechanism which cuts off power at 50C to avoid overheating.
