This year, Enrico Macias celebrates more than 60 years of career still in motion with a new CD box set, entitled 'From Music to Music'. Illustrated by Joann Sfar and comprising 88 tracks, 'From Music to Music' retraces in four thematic discs the unique journey of the singer, songwriter, performer and guitarist emeritus. From the heartbreaking, uprooting to the strong links between France and the Mediterranean, each of them addresses the favorite themes of Enrico Macias' songs by sending a message of peace and universal love to all generations. • The first volume: 'L'amour' (friendship and fraternity too), includes a selection of his most beautiful ballads, among which 'We kiss and we forget', 'La Folle espérance' and 'Je t'aime pour deux (live at L'Olympia 1968). • The second volume: 'The Family' (and transmission too), brings together a selection of his most beautiful songs, including 'Open the Door' and 'Woe to One Who Wounds a Child'. • The third volume: 'Between the East and the West', builds a bridge between the Mediterranean and the hexagon with 'La France de mon enfance', 'Les gens du Nord' (live at L'Olympia 1995) and 'Adieu mon pay', performed in duet with Kendji Girac. • The fourth volume: 'La Fête ', brings together some of Enrico Macias' greatest hits, including 'Le beggar de amour', 'Les Filles de mon pays (live at L'Olympia 1973) and 'L'Oriental' in duet with Khaled.
