Map-Plus Gas burns 20% hotter than propane meaning you will be able to complete jobs quicker whilst using less gas.
The gas cylinder is ideal for Soldering, Brazing, General Plumbing, Thawing frozen pipes, Heat Treatment of rusted metal components, lighting a barbecue, Cooking and Searing meat.
The Mapp+ gas canister valve connection type is: CGA 600 (1” x 20 UNEF Thread). It is ideal for use with a wide range of the most popular gas blow torches such as the Rothenberger Super-Fire 2, Quickfire Bernzomatic, Faithful, Monument and many more.
Map+ gas has high burning performance in the coldest of weather. Mapp gas gives a hotter flame than Propane. Combined with oxygen it can give a flame temperature of 2927°C.
Each gas canister conforms to European Standard EN12205 and can be used with a variety of other brand torches with a CGA 600 connection.
