Thanks to the focusing mechanism with linear motor and VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive), this lens also boasts very fast and highly accurate autofocus. The Tamron 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD is compatible with the new 'Tamron Lens Utility' software. The 'Tamron Lens Utility' software can be controlled via the user's computer by connecting the lens via the dedicated port with the optional Tamron USB-C connectivity cable. Users can adjust lens functions and update firmware via the lens instead of the camera body.
