The 188 g Durastretch fabric (66% polyamide, 23% polyester, 11% elastane) wicks away excess heat and moisture and promotes natural thermoregulation, but still offers you the necessary protection for winter use. In addition, it has a PFC-free DWR (durable water-repellent) coating that maintains breathability by preventing the fabric from saturating. It has a snug fit as well as a flat waistband with integrated drawstring, so it can be worn under a climbing harness.
