Description

SVBONY H-Alpha/O-III 7nm Narrow Band Dual Narrow Band Filters are specially designed for astrophotography in light-polluted environments, allowing imaging in bright artificial light pollution and moonlight conditions to capture color images without using multiple filter combinations. Images are most useful with single-use color cameras; it can be used to image emission nebulae, planetary nebulae and supernova debris; high transmittance and sharp cutting can greatly improve contrast, showing the most detailed information about deep sky objects; designed to drastically remove sodium. Artificial light interference from vapor or mercury streetlights and other unwanted interference (e.g. sky brightness); Dual-band narrowband filters are not suitable for visual observation and are not designed for imaging or observing the sun. Note that the SV220 is not suitable for fast telescopes; some users have reported that dual-band OSC filters combined with RASA can cause band changes, thereby clipping HA data. Specifications: Brand: SVBONY; Model: SV220; Name: OSC dual-band filter; Size: 1.25 inch;Substrate thickness: 1.85 mm; Clear aperture: 26 mm; Wavelength range: 300-1100 nm; FWHM: OIII (7 nm) and HA (7nm) 9. o: >OD5; Maximum Transmittance: 500.7nm@T>90%; 656.3nm@T>94%;Surface Quality: 60/40;Surface Parallelism: 1/4λ;Thread: M28.5*0.6;Single Thread: Yes;Net Weight: 7g; Package Included: 1 x SVBONY Dual Band OSC Filter of 1.25 inch and 7nm; 1 PP material plastic box.

Key Features

Reduce light pollution; SV220 telescopic filter can greatly reduce interference from natural light sources such as moonlight or artificial light pollution such as street lighting

Astrophotographic; filter improves contrast during visual observation of gaseous and planetary nebulae in all sky conditions; filter allows for high-contrast images even in areas with strong light pollution

Wide range of applications; 1.25 inch dual band filter can be used with most cameras and filter wheels; Don't worry about not applicable

Improve contrast; increased contrast can be perceived as increased brightness; filter increases contrast between nebula and sky background; not the brightest nebula

Strong applicability; the filter applicable to SVBONY electronic cameras and astronomical cameras whose apertures are 1.25 inches; but for the different telescopes and cameras; the order of installation of the filters is also different

Easy to use; Dual band filter allows for simplification and decrease post-processing difficulty and complexity for users

Standard 1.25 inch size; 1.25 inch size of the filter fits most telescopes; and the weight is 5.5g; its center wavelength reaches 500.7nm
