Description The Alta Pro 3VRL 303CV18 is an extra tall CNC machined carbon fibre tripod with a removable levelling base instead of a central column that comes fitted with a smooth Arca compatible VEO PV-18 video head, and includes a free lightweight flat platform. A perfect combination that delivers incredible stability and versatility for videographers, photographers, heavy long lenses or spotting scopes. The 3-section, 30mm diameter legs extend to 1.7 metres without the need to use a central column for maximum stability, and can hold up to a 25kg load capacity. The video head adds 0.1 metres, making the combination a whopping 1.8 metres, and has a maximum load capacity of 15kg. In place of a central column is a removable levelling base that can rotate 360° or move vertically ±15° with a 3/8” thread. All movement is controlled through a handle below the levelling system, and this allows you to level your tripod in seconds on any terrain. This Alta Pro 3VRL also includes a lightweight flat platform that can be used in place of the levelling base. Simply attach any head to the reversible 1/4” to 3/8” thread and you’re good to go. Effectively this can become a quick release system for tripod heads. The legs also feature silent, easy clean twist lock leg adjustments and can be set in three leg angles (23°, 50° and 80°) to find the most comfortable position for your shot.
