The solar-powered pool heater has two hose outlets, one of which connects it to a filter pump and the other to your above ground pool. Clear, clean and pristine water is pumped into the pad via the filter pump, where it’s then heated by the sun and pumped back into the pool. For larger pools, multiple heating pads can be connected together for more efficient water-warming. The Solar-Powered Pool Heater Pad can increase pool temperatures by 3-5ºC (5-9ºF) depending on weather conditions. Pool Compatibility: This pool heating pad is compatible with cartridge filter pumps with flow rates of 9,462 L (2,500 gal.) and above, and sand filter pumps with flow rates of 8,327 L/h (2,200 gal.) and above. It is compatible with most above ground pools on the market, as this set includes adapters for both 3.2 cm (1.25 in.) and 3.8 cm (1.5 in.) filter pump connectors.
