ObXidian is E3D's latest abrasion-resistant nozzle offering, specifically designed for printing fiber-filled polymers. Unlike other abrasion-resistant nozzles, ObXidian's copper alloy construction has a brass-like thermal performance, making it a true direct replacement. Simply use the same cutter profiles as for your brass nozzles.

With wear resistance that is orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzle, ObXidian is truly rugged. Several orders of magnitude harder than Nozzle X and, in fact, any other generic hardened steel nozzle. This is achieved by combining a steel tool insert with an E3DLC coating.
