El objetivo de este libro es el de llevar al investigador en ciencia experimental paso a paso desde la instalación de R hasta la realización de técnicas clásicas paramétricas y no paramétricas, predictivas y multivariantes. Interpretando en cada paso la información y resultados obtenidos. Por ello, es una guía este libro tanto para el investigador con desconocimiento de este lenguaje de programación como para el investigador que ya tiene conocimientos en R. El investigador aprenderá a trabajar estadística descriptiva, técnicas no paramétricas, técnicas paramétricas, como las técnicas de t de Student y análisis de varianza tan utilizadas en investigación, con sus variantes de uno y dos factores, medidas repetidas y manova. Así como, técnicas predictivas como regresión y correlación, simples y múltiples, regresión poisson, logística, suavizada, modelos lineales mixtos generalizados, árboles de regresión y modelos aditivos generalizados y modelos de series temporales SARIMA. También se incluye la técnica de análisis de supervivencia. Dentro de las técnicas multivariadas, análisis de correspondencias, análisis discriminante, análisis clusters, escalado multidimensional, análisis de componentes principales y análisis factorial exploratorio y confirmatorio, junto a alpha de Cronbach para la validación de instrumentos. Todo realizado con bases de datos de investigaciones del campo de las ciencias experimentales, paso a paso en R, extrayendo la información de los resultados a cada momento, interpretándola correctamente y tomando decisiones acertadas en base a los resultados. Las bases de datos utilizadas en cada técnica se incluyen junto con el libro, pudiendo descargarlas de un enlace que se proporciona en el prefacio del autor. Este libro forma parte del temario oficial del diplomado de 200 horas y/o 12.5 créditos “Diseño de Investigación y Análisis de Datos con R”, con registro oficial 17DAP57319 de la Secretaría de Educación del Estado de Morelos (México).
