Product Description The Ford Focus RS was introduced in 1998 as a high-performance rally oriented vehicle. In 2006, Ford Motor Team Chief Engineer Christian Loriaux had the vehicle optimised by reworking the seat position, roll cage, suspension, aerodynamics and engine. The 2 litre 4-cylinder turbo engine delivers 300 HP and 550 Nm. In seven years of factory use, Ford was able to win four constructor titles with the RS. TAMIYA presents this model in the custom version, so as a street version without sponsors. The 58724 TAMIYA model in 1:10 scale is the proven TT-02 chassis. With this wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted many times and with the countless optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned to a racer. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbone and suspension struts on all four wheels ensure a true driving pattern and best traction. The chassis base is extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. Visual highlight are the wheel carriers, which have attached dummy brake discs. The enclosed body is unpainted and can be painted with TAMIYA polycarbonate paints. Required accessories: remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2 V NiMH battery pack, charger, colour for polycarbonate body (TAMIYA PS) Directions Detailed illustrated instructions in English for assembly, painting, and operation of the RC car.
