An innovative material is used in the outer jacket: a certified mass balance process is used for the recycled main material polyamide. Pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tyres, which is supplied to conventional polyamide production: this saves up to 60% CO2. The outer jacket has been environmentally friendly with Eco Finish: raindrops bead off without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). The fashionable quilted inner jacket with insulating PrimaLoft padding made from recycled PET bottles ensures pleasant warmth. The inner jacket, which is made from 100% recycled materials, is an eye-catcher in the transitional period. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable and bluesign certified materials. In addition, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping have been holistically determined and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated by the independent non-profit organisation "myclimate".
