An innovative material is used in the outer jacket: a certified mass balancing process is used for the recycled main material polyamide. Pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tyres, which is supplied to conventional polyamide production: saving up to 60% CO2. The outer jacket has been environmentally friendly with Eco Finish: raindrops bead without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). The fashionable quilted inner jacket with an insulating PrimaLoft® padding made from recycled PET bottles ensures pleasant warmth. The inner jacket, which is made from 100% recycled materials, is an eye-catcher in the transitional period. The Vaude Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials. In addition, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping have been determined and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated by the independent non-profit organisation "myclimate".
