Product Description
As with the other optics in the I series range of premium compact primes, the 50mm F2 has an all-metal build comprising precision-cut aluminium parts. Its robust construction and ultra-portable design make it perfect for a wide range of photographic applications. The lens has a rubber seal around the mount to stop dust and moisture from getting in. A manual aperture ring allows photographers to change aperture on the lens or, using the Auto setting, on the camera if preferred. The movement of the ring is exceptionally smooth and the clicks well define, ensuring precise operation. The tactile knurled metal finish used for the lens hood, focus ring and aperture ring make handling the lens and changing settings extremely intuitive. Included with the lens is a magnetic metal lens cap in addition to the regular plastic cap, which further improves ease of use.
