TM Electron Presents its new water filters for jugs compatible with Maxtra and Maxtra+ jugs. These filters have a shelf life of 30 to 60 days, depending on the water hardness. In addition, these filters are designed to reduce particles of aluminum, chlorine, lead, cadmium, copper and zinc, ensuring that the water you drink is free of these impurities. The filtering process of these filters takes place in 4 steps, which can get cleaner and better tasting water. First, the water is passed through a filter grid to remove larger particles. Then it passes through a layer of activated carbon that reduces chlorine and other chemicals. Third, the water passes through a layer of ion exchange resin that reduces the content of minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which are responsible for water hardness.
