The hereby volume is meant to be a comprehensive guide of a Mioritic Shepherd– either for a breeder or an owner – not perfect but perfectible! – written as a breeder, from a breeder’s perspective. I have decided that it is high time to publish the second volume regarding a magnificent breed, Romanian Mioritic Shepherd as I do believe there are people that might be interested and would like to stay informed. Moreover, many people asked me to develop some new subjects as well as to introduce new ones, of great interest to anybody. As I have already opened Pandora’s box in my first volume – Mioritic, A Legendary Breed, published in August 2021, allow me continue with some more details and data, some very exciting subjects and considerations, some of the past, present and future promotion projects of this breed in other countries adding special places for the ones that continued breeding, kennel’s presentations. I have also think that it is high time to promote some of Romanian Mioritic kennels, owners as well and add some from abroad (most of them belong to owners and breeders that accepted to join this new project and brought their contribution for which I am grateful and I thank them, all – they really do a good job and it is proven that the breed has many fans. Perhaps of interest will be also promoting projects of Mioritic in other countries, with pictures and comments of readers and owners. The hereby volume is meant to be a comprehensive owner’s guide of a Mioritic – either for a breeder or an owner – not perfect but perfectible! – written as a breeder, from a breeder’s perspective.
